Diners at Hakkasan were treated to a star-studded evening on Thursday night rubbing shoulders with Hollywood A-listers and British pop stars aplenty. 

Bradley Cooper and his Hangover co-stars decided to eat at the Chinese restaurant in Mayfair and it seems that a number of stars had the same idea. 

Actress and pop star Selena Gomez also enjoyed dinner at the upmarket eatery and ate with her ex-boyfriend's best friend Jaden Smith. 

The ladies of Icona Pop – Caroline Hjelt and Aino Jawo – hit the stage for a great performance during the 2013 Billboard Music Awards held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on Sunday (May 19) in Las Vegas.

Certainly one of the most buzzed-about Super Bowl commercials this year was Go Daddy's 'Perfect Match' ad featuring Bar Refaeli making out with Jesse Heiman.

And while the unlikely pairing made for a very unexpected visual, the steamy commercial also made headlines immediately after airing.

WHAT: Israeli designer, actress, and fashion icon Dodo established Pas Pour Toi in 2009 to spread her unique style and personality around the world. The line focuses on fine fabrics and handmade embroidery.

International Fashion Weeks have been gaining in pace over the last few seasons - Sao Paolo has celebrated its 15 year and upped its ante by investing in a new design show and exhibition space, able to house installations and films, and Singapore's Audi Fashion Week brought over Emanuel Ungaro as well as some of London's top names - the established Erdem and the up-and-coming J JS Lee - to help put it on the map. And next up was Tel Aviv, which enlisted the help of Roberto Cavalli to get its proceedings underway for its first Fashion Week in 30 years this last month.

The highlight of our trip to Tel Aviv Fashion Week was seeing Pas Pour Toi, the label designed by Israeli actress Dorit Bar Or. In creating an all black collection with super clean lines, Bar Or was able emphasize a wide array of skillful details that made the collection truly unique. Gold and black beading seen on a handful of knee-length dresses was impeccably done in a way that accented the models’ bodies. Other favorite pieces included an open-back jumpsuit with sheer bits in all the right places, a flowy mid-calf chiffon skirt with gold beaded detailing, and a cape fashioned out of lush, layered leather leaves. Adding to the feminine, refined vibe were briefcase-like handbags and gold leaf earrings.

"Israelis!!! Step. Away. From. The. Fashion. Press. I want to talk to them," barked the flame haired whirlwind, Dorit Bar Or, backstage after showing what was only her second collection. The officious assistant was trying to herd us, bodily, back out front where he thought we clearly belonged, backed off sheepishly. ‘ Oh my God, look what they are doing to my clothes,’ she wailed as another group of helpers stuffed hand embroidered chiffon gowns into plastic bags. ‘I am so stressed, I am sweating. They don’t know how to handle delicate things. You’ll have to wait till I pack them myself. They are going to destroy them."

"I waited outside the H&M in Tel Aviv and took my chances, along with everyone else," replied the Israeli fashion editor when I asked where she got her Versace for H&M studded mini kilt. We were in another queue, this time to get backstage after the Pas Pour Toi show, on the second day of Tel Aviv's inaugural fashion week. Queue is probably not the mot juste . It was a scrum Just when it seemed that the British journalists' reflexive line-forming would be trounced by the natives' more rambunctious approach, Dorit Bar Or, the designer of Pas Pour Toi, appeared, a tornado of red curls and redder lips, and ushered us past the bouncers.

Tel Aviv, Israel - For people who live smack dab in the middle of the world’s most politically charged region, Israelis are a very warm and welcoming bunch, keen to show a side of the country that doesn’t make it into most international news reports. As is true for most places in the world, in order to understand Israel and its people, one really needs to visit the country and experience it first hand. So, I was extremely fortunate to have been invited to speak at Holon Fashion Week (HoF11) last month, held at the stunning Design Museum Holon designed by Ron Arad, who is credited with putting this suburban city on the outskirts of Tel Aviv, on the global design radar. Though the event was dubbed a ‘fashion week’, there were no fashion shows to speak of. In reality, what transpired was more of a constructive dialogue between the global fashion industry and Israel’s fashion community.

She lived in Israel until she made it big in the modelling world and moved to Manhattan when her career took off. But this week Bar Refaeli headed back to her motherland for a visit. The 27-year-old supermodel was spotted going out for sushi in Tel Aviv, Israel. Joined by fellow model Valentina Micchetti, the pair got plenty of attention during the outing from fellow diners. And it's no wonder why, the blonde star looked gorgeous in a flowing black kaftan. With barely any make-up on her complexion and her flaxen locks in a natural style, Bar was glowing.
